This was taken in May 2004, when Robert was 7 and Josiah was nearly 2. If you look closely, you can see the black "Robin" mask on Robert's forehead. The boys--especially Robert--wore their baby blankets as superhero capes for years. Superhero capes were such a staple in our household that while I was pregnant with Grace, Josiah would tell me the baby had on a red superhero cape. (Knowing Grace, it would have been pink!)

I still smile at memories of us at the park or just hanging out with Robert with his cape/blanket and cowboy boots!
Russell still wears his "monkey" blanket as a cape too!
