If you take Grace (4) shopping for some everyday shoes (with velcro, please!), she will instead sit on the floor and say "Eenie meenie minie mo" over glitter shoes.
Not surprised at all. Somehow I feel I already know Grace! Hmmm... :) And velcro? Love it! 'Course it means my 5yo still does not know how to tie shoes. I paid my oldest $5 to teach her youngest brother; I think I will need to extend the same offer so her younger sister will learn. I hate teaching shoe tying!

I love the ruby red shoes. They go with anything.
