I took these next two shots this afternoon when my husband surprised me with a lunch date to the Blue Willow Inn. I have lived most of my life within about an hour of this famous restaurant, and yet this was my first time eating there. We toured the upstairs of the mansion and that's when I took this shot of a front porch column:
There were lovely ornamental cabbage beds around the walkways.
...and, yes, our lunch date was fabulous! What a treat!

Pretty! I have several shots of those columns, too--aren't they lovely? I love the Blue Willow Inn--never liked fried green tomatoes until I had theirs. Great...now I want some! LOL
ReplyDeleteLIKE! Good job! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! I love how ornate that column is.
ReplyDeleteLove the pinecones! One year, I glittered up a bunch of pinecones and put them in a bowl on the table for holiday decorations. There was glitter everywhere, but I loved seeing them at dinner time. Thanks for visiting my blog!
ReplyDeleteoooooo- I love those pine cones
ReplyDeleteVery pretty still life captures.
