Seriously, after an Easter egg hunt last year, she had only a dozen eggs in her basket, and all of them were pink. I was watching her during the egg hunt--she would glance down and pass by all non-pink eggs. "Blue? I don't want that one. Green? Nah. Pink? Oh, yes!"
This year, she wasn't quite so particular with her eggs. Still, they ended up being mostly pink, purple, and orange...her favorite colors ever since she could respond with "pink, purple, orange!" when asked, "What's your favorite color?"

I'm slightly amused by this since I became so used to hearing, "Mom, what are you taking a picture of?"
My kids still ask, but then their second question is "are you going to blog this?"

ReplyDeleteMy kids say that to me all the time- I never go anywhere without the camera & rarely does it not make an appearance while we are out & about!
ReplyDeleteLol, I'm hoping my kids are young enough that they'll be so used to it when they're older that they think it's weird for a mom NOT to carry a big ass camera everywhere.
