Bob...or, rather, Josiah the Builder

This week, with the colder weather (plus the rain we've had), it was a great time for Josiah to pull out the "How to Draw..." books. He has been busy drawing at the kitchen table as well as in his room. Now, in his room he has a perfectly good desk.

But this is what he built to use as a desk instead:

Note the green hand weights on each side to stabilize the top half. He actually pointed those out to me and said they were there "so it wouldn't wiggle around" when he was sitting at his new desk.

A few weeks ago, I found him building the biggest bird bath I'd ever seen. He had taken apart his (already broken) basketball goal, turned the bottom part upside down,

and used landscaping stones (Landscaping? What is landscaping??) to stabilize the "bird bath."

"Hmmm...Now what else does it need?"

  1. He has such a good imagination. He might just be a Creative Genius. How did he get the "bird bath" to stand up so straight? I'm impressed. --Sharron
